Design Manager,
Financial Services

REA Group / Mortgage Choice

Led the design team across consumer experiences on realestate.com.au and broker tools at Mortgage Choice.

With Product Leadership, I turned insights into narratives the board could act on:

  • Property search to finance. Broker leads grew 40% year on year.
  • Future of the broker platform.
  • AI strategy. A policy-search tool cut lookup from hours to minutes; 20% of 900+ brokers were early adopters.
  • Product design process, from valuing work to discovery.

2019 – 2021

Senior / Staff Product Designer,
Residential Customer

REA Asia

Led design on iProperty PRO, an advertising tool for agents in Malaysia and Hong Kong, from first launch onward.

  • Design systems and cross-functional ways of working.
  • Mapped sales onboarding with blueprints and journey maps, which fed the roadmap.

2018 – 2019

Senior Product Designer,
Residential Customer

REA Group

Led design for Buy advertising, REA’s primary revenue stream.

  • Redesigned the property details and search result pages, balancing agent and buyer value and widening the premium–standard gap.
  • Residential Campaign Performance Report on Ignite — the first real-time view agents had of campaign returns.

2016 – 2018

Lead Product Designer

LiveHire (ASX:LVH)

Led UX and design on LiveHire’s Talent Community platform. The company IPO’d and doubled in size while I was there.

  • Candidate dashboards and white-labelled flows for The Alfred, Bupa and the Women’s Hospital.

About

I’ve spent 20 years designing digital products, the last eight at REA Group, most recently leading design on home-loan journeys. Before that I worked at LiveHire, MyScript, Deloitte Digital and Lonely Planet, with teams in Australia, China, Malaysia, France and Canada.

I do my best work in a collaborative setting, on problems that genuinely help people.
My current interests are challenges in energy and healthcare.

Outside work, I enjoy tending to my balcony garden, creative projects and teaching yoga. I travel when I can and photograph while I’m there.
